USA Swimming and Summer League Positions
The Aggie Swim Camp at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas has opportunities available for coaches from high school and club teams who are excited about the opportunity to learn and work with younger kids and an excellent staff for one or more weeks May 27-June 22. The Camp is a very successful operation with over 600 campers over four one-week sessions. In addition to assisting with camp as an assistant coach and camp counselor, you will also have the opportunity to spend time with successful collegiate coaches Jay Holmes, Steve Bultman, Doug Boyd and Tanica Jamison . Free meals and housing are included, as well as a stipend each week based on experience. Applicants must be 21 years or older, have attended at least two years of college and have experience as a competitive swimmer and/or coach. Current First Aid, CPR, and/or Lifeguard/Safety Training for Swim Coaches are helpful. All staff must be willing to work in an alcohol/drug free environment. With our emphasis on stroke, start, and turn technique, this camp can make a great coaching clinic for any coach. Red Wave El Campo, TX
Position: The El Campo Red Wave summer league team that competes in the Coastal Cities Aquatics Association and TAAF, has an opening for a head coach and possibly an assistant coach.
Qualifications: Applicants must have previous competitive swimming experience or general knowledge about competitive swimming, and should be well versed in basic swim strokes. Applicants should be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities: The coach is responsible for organizing and conducting the daily practice and preparing meet entries, and will take the team through CCAA championships, TAAF Region 1 and TAAF Games of Texas. The coach, with the assistance of team parents, will host as many as three swim meets during the summer in the citys 8-lane competition pool.

The City of El Campo is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager of the El Campo Aquatic Center.
Job summary includes, but is not limited to, hiring/scheduling lifeguards, handling accounts payable and receivable, time cards, conducting lifeguard training and in-service, keeping the facility pristine, and marketing to increase membership and facility usage.
The successful applicant needs to possess, or be willing to immediately earn, Red Cross lifeguard, lifeguard instructor and WSI certifications.
Experience as a competitive swimmer and competitive swim coach are desirable and will be considered.
Salary in $35,000 range, with possible coaching opportunity available to enhance income. City benefits include retirement, social security, medical and life insurance, personal, sick and holiday leave.
