TISCA Sanctioned Meet Bid

 

TISCA fee of $1.00 per athlete for being considered for all state list, plus TISCA sanctioned fee of $250.00 for hosting meet for The Theron Pickle Scholarship Fund.

 

1. Proposed Host of the Meet.

 

2. Proposed Dates of the Meet.

 

3. Proposed venue for the meet.  Please list: number of lanes, if the meet will be run in two courses or one, depth of the water, warm-down facilities, seating capacity for swimmers and parents, actual footage from the back edge of the gutter to each wall, hospitality, number of lanes on the scoreboard, parking availability.

 

4. Please list the Meet Referee, (if run in two courses) the Head Deck Referee for each course, Chief Judge (two if running two courses), and the Meet Director.

 

5. Please list other large High School Meets that the host has run.

 

6. Please list everything about the diving facilities including: number of one-meter boards, number of three-meter boards, depth of the water, if there is a hot tub.

 

7. Proposed order of events, if any events in addition to the National Federation order of events.

 

8. Please list the proposed Time Standards to be used.

 

9. Please describe the scoring and awards, including individual and team awards.

 

   10.    Please list the proposed entry fees for individuals and relays.

 

   11.   Will this be an open invitational, or closed competition?

 

 

The Meet bid proposals needs to be turned in to the TISCA President before 6:00pm, September 1^st of each year to be considered for the current school year calendar.  Meets may be awarded prior to the September meeting, if deemed appropriate by the TISCA Meet Review Committee.  Early application is preferable and encouraged.
